The Person Behind Red Pine Health

NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Somewhere in your fifties, "staying in shape" quietly changes meaning. It stops being about how you look and starts being about what you can still do.
For me it looks like this: most weekends, my wife and I are out on the trails with the dog, and I've got a rucking pack on. Last summer we walked to the grocery store and carried the day's food home - an 8 km round trip, just because we could.
I want more of that as I get older, not less. Walking a new downtown all day. Finding trails I've never set foot on. Being the father who keeps up on family trips, not the one who has to be looked after.
I've seen the other version. Between my parents and my wife's, we've watched how fast a full life narrows — and how heavily that lands on everyone around them. That's not the path I'm taking, and I don't think it's yours either.
So I got certified, and built Red Pine Health for people like us: adults who are still capable, still active, and fully intend to stay that way.

I hold the NASM Certified Personal Trainer credential — the industry's most widely recognized certification. The badge is issued directly by NASM and can be verified by scanning it.

Coaching here is built on established, age-appropriate training standards — not internet trends. I'm a trainer, not a doctor, and I'll always be clear about that line.
This isn't about me. It's about what you still want to be doing at 60, 70, 80 — and building the strength and mobility that keeps that door open.
My job is to give you a plan that fits your real life, hold you to it, and make sure it's right for the body you have now.
